together we can
“You must arrange your days so that you are experiencing deep contentment, joy, and confidence in your everyday life with God.”

Focused Integration
There is a lot of advice out there. Honestly, some of it is great. But very little of it is fully integrated into a lifestyle, a way of being in the world. At narrow & sparrow we want the life that you invite your Church into, to be the life you and your staff are currently living. The life that is found on the way, is not going to be easy, but it does need focus.
Pastors and churches and ministry leaders who need help with the challenges of growth.
Each stage presents unique challenges that require thought and care on how to handle them. Whether or not you’ve read all the books on spiritual formation, church leadership and growth, the biggest challenges most leaders face are the integration and synthesis of ideas into their actual culture.
If you are in a season of implementing church-wide formation, dealing with complexity due to growth or having trouble keeping up with all of the demands of church life, let’s connect.
Most likely, you don’t need more, you need less. Getting back to your first love, the people you seek to serve, is the objective. Don’t let the organizational structure outgrow the souls in front of you. If things feel chaotic, I’d be honored to chat.
Who is this for?
How do we work?
The primary tools of our work are conversation and prayer (and yes, zoom).
So much of what is wanted is the fast and easy way. The way of Jesus, on the other hand, is self-sacrifice for the sake of others. Tension and paradox are the currency of leadership, life and love. While we have many tools, frameworks, and methodologies at our disposal finding the right fit is essential. We strive to work at an unhurried pace that models the very kind of life we are asking others to reorient too. We meet, we pray, we talk, we listen to one another and ultimately work together to simplify, systematize with a focus on sustainability.
Together we can
The first task is to be apprenticed to Jesus ourselves - taking him up, daily, on his invitation to experience this eternal kind of life.
Not every tension has a resolution. Not every question has just one answer or even an answer at all. We need a renewed mind. One that seeks to humble ourselves first and serve in love by laying down our lives. The path of virtue is one of constant pull between universal truths and the particularities of our lives. There is joy to be found, a fullness and freedom to be experienced in the in-between.
